Ember Mudgee

A dark ember in a golden paddock. Ember is a cosy hearth for four, in the heart of the Mudgee wine region.

Your Stay

Ember is a one-of-a-kind home, built with care and made for slowing down.

Here, the day simply unfolds. Rise with the sun and stay in bed a little longer, watching the sky change while the paddock wakes up. Curl up with that book you've been wanting to finish and a hot cuppa as the breeze cleanses you with that fresh countryside air. Watch the tall grass shift from gold to silver as the sun moves across the sky, and let the quiet of the valley do the rest. Cook a long dinner with the people you love, and open a bottle of wine and let the evening stretch out with that magical sunset we ourselves fell in love with.

The furniture and kitchenware are a thoughtfully curated collection of things we love, intended to make the house feel cosy the moment you walk in. We've even designed and built some of the furniture ourselves. Two bedrooms, room for four, and nowhere you need to be. Make our home your unforgettable stay in the countryside.
